IQVIA is looking for a Clinical Trial Nurse to join one of its clinical trials for patients with Hereditary Transthyretin Amyloidosis.

The patient we require a Nurse for is located in Beacon Hill, NSW.

Administration: Sub-cut injection and blood sample collection

Patient visits:

• 3 weekly visits with blood sample collection and vital signs
• 12 weekly visits with SC injection administered

Role of nurse during visit:

• Adverse event recording
• Serious adverse event recording
• Concomitant medication recording
• Completion of the drug transportation and stability log
• Vital Signs
• Preparation & Administration of investigational product via SC Injection
• Take receipt of IMP delivery and completion of the drug transportation and stability log
• Collect and process blood samples (Centrifuge provided)
• Photography of injection site with shipping of memory card to site (only required if there is a reaction at the site - camera provided)
• Visit report form (VRF) completion within 24 hours of the visit being conducted

Training will be provided by IQVIA for the successful Nurse

Essential:

• RN (Current Registration)
• Current Basic Life Support Certificate
• Venepuncture skills (must have recent skills - within last 6 months)
• IM injection experience
• High attention to detail
• Prompt and good communication skills
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Current/ full/ unrestricted driver's licence
• IT Proficient

Desirable:

• Flexible with time and days
• Previous clinical trial experience
• Cannulation skills (must have recent skills - within last 6 months)
