JOB DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity exists within our organisation for a proactive Business Development Manager to grow new sales and cultivate business from existing key accounts.

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer for growth targets building strategic relationships. You will work with highly creative minds to explore impossibilities, inspire innovation and lead the way 21st century legal content is produced, disseminated and utilised.


___ This is a full time, permanent position, based in our office in Sydney.

Primarily, this role is to identify new prospects as well as develop new business opportunities within existing relationships. You must be commercially astute, and solution focused to succeed in this role.

Your new role will see you work as part of the business development team, working across an exciting portfolio to assist in key areas such as management of client relationships, partnership and agent agreement, responding to client briefs, organic client growth, new business development and opportunities, strategic client development, and developing creative and innovative solutions for clients. You will need to be comfortable presenting your findings and working collaboratively to develop creative solutions. You are a natural salesperson and feel at home developing new business relationships.

The must haves…


  • Working experience with Education Agents / CRICOS (Preferred)
  • Ideally experience in marketing/sales or related role
  • Proven business development ability and successes
  • Tertiary qualifications highly regarded


Reporting to the Management, with key responsibilities including: 

  • Develop business networking and corporate relationship through digital channel
  • Present solution-based outcomes in the form of a proposal to potential clients
  • Build relationship with new agents/providers and look after existing agreements
  • Attend conferences and networking events to build the sales pipeline and brand awareness
  • Monthly reporting based on new agreement and partnership update
  • Outside visit may require depends on the management requirement
  • Other relevant job activities as per the business need



All Duties and Tasks will be dependent on and in line with relevant Government legislation in regard to social distancing and gathering in groups relating to the Covid-19 climate.
