Opportunity to work for a strong and established brand name in the health sector. This is a full time 6 month temp role working in a busy Cardiology Department. This role would also suit a Catheter Laboratory nurse or Coronary/Critical Care nurse with ten years' experience, looking for a change from shiftwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysing 24–48-hour Holter monitors
• Using beat editing technique and BP monitors
• Interpretation of ECGs
• Trouble-shooting of Holter monitors and ECG machines for pathology collection staff
• Assessing and sending ECG, Holters and 24hr BP monitors away for servicing and repairs
• Phoning/faxing urgent results to client doctors
• Performing general office duties
• Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

• MUST have completed Associate Diploma in Cardiology or equivalent University degree 
• Minimum of ten years' hands-on experience, extensive knowledge of ECG interpretation and analysing 24-hour Holter monitors
• Excellent communication skills
• Thorough understanding of cardiac terminology
• Ability to work as part of a team
