JOB DESCRIPTION
The Key Duties Of The Position Include
- Support and promote the NDIS Commission’s vision, mission and business objectives.
- Critically analyse information, make sound judgements and problem solve.
- Lead policy work relevant to the functions of the Complaints Commissioner.
- Provide sound information and advice on current and emerging issues.
- Design, plan and manage projects assigned to the team to ensure project outcomes and/or expectations are achieved and translated into practice.
- Prepare high quality reports, briefing papers and Ministerial correspondence for presentation to senior staff and the Executive.
- Sensitively contribute to the management of complex issues with the intent of achieving a positive outcome.
- Respond in a positive and flexible manner to change and uncertainty and help others to adapt.
- Supervise and support policy officers and their work.
- Behave in accordance with the APS values.
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the Commission) is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia and a non-corporate entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
