About The Job

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Team Assistant to join our Investments Team. Your role will be to support the Sydney Investment Team Managers and their teams (circa. 30 people) with a range of admin and projects support.

This is a varied role offering a diverse range of development opportunities as the Rest Investments team continues their good to great journey.

Key Responsibilities Include

Team Support
  • Diary management
  • Assist with booking travel e.g. flights and accommodation, and reconcile monthly expenses
  • Liaise with external investment managers, consultants, industry bodies and other outsourced providers
  • Assisting in organising meetings, team events, business planning & strategy days – booking rooms, organising catering, video conference facilities etc
  • Support human resources activities, including leave planning, and track staff leave, organising onboarding for new starters
  • Support team members register for conferences, both as attendees and speakers
  • Support team with compliance and risk deliverables
  • Maintaining, improve and/or standardise the office filing and archiving systems for better information storage and sharing

Project Support
  • Project support and co-ordination of high-profile investment team projects s
  • Develop and assist with preparation of presentation materials and briefs
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, take meeting notes and track actions
  • Circulation of reminders of outstanding action items, project reports and documentation
  • Accounts payable, e.g. processing of invoices

About You
  • Previous experience providing administration support to a team as a team assistant, practice manager or office manager
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, prioritise and organise.
  • Agile and adaptable; able to operate in fast paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Teams, One Note, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Capable numeracy skills including ability to work with financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Comfortable and effective in dealing with a broad range of people both internally and externally
  • Commercial awareness
  • An interest in financial analysis and investing
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
