This role is responsible for the Direct Booking Experience and continuous delivery within Jetstar Customer & Commercial. You will be responsible for maximising business value of our digital development and experience efforts by defining, designing and prioritising digital product features and improvements that best align with business priorities whilst ensuring a world class customer experience.

Reporting to the Digital Direct Manager, your main accountabilities will include:

  • Use business process analysis and design to define Products
  • Product innovation and design using user research, user centered design and customer centric design
  • Conceptualising new online/interactive products and services in the digital arena
  • Research (market, customer, product)
  • Stakeholder engagement across Jetstar Group and Airlines, Qantas, Vendors & Contractors
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and communication flow between digital product development teams or vendors and business stakeholders
  • Liaising between teams within the organisation to ensure that all tasks and features align with business priorities
  • Report on product and initiative performance, platform adoption rates, usage trends
  • Closely collaborate with vendors, the Digital Analytics team and other analytical functions in Commercial.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • 3 years in a Product Owner role or similar (e.g. senior BA/Producer, Channel Manager) in the online/digital space
  • Strong product management, design and analysis understanding
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially working as a product owner
  • Scrum product owner certification or similar highly regarded
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent project leadership, risk and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail and superior communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex thoughts and ideas clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Strong drive, initiative, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
