- Indicative Total Remuneration: $125,945 - $130,662 p.a. - ASO8; $118,937 - $129,393 p.a - AHP4; $134,227 - $141,652 p.a - RN/M4A - Permanent Full-Time - Manager Safety, Risk and Compliance
The Manager Safety, Risk and Compliance (Manager) is accountable to the Director Clinical Governance and Risk, Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN);
- The Manager ensures compliance with the National, NALHN, SA Health directions; and National Safety and Quality Standards in respect to patient safety and risk management;
- The role of the Manager Safety, Risk and Compliance is to lead, manage, support, build and enhance the patient safety, risk management and compliance capabilities within the NALHN;
- The Manager provides expert advice, consultancy and recommendations on patient safety, risk management and compliance matters to the Director Clinical Governance and Risk, executives, divisions and services within the NALHN; and
- The Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing the network’s safety, risk management and compliance frameworks, plans and procedures that impact on NALHN operations.
- Provides expert advice and applies highly developed analytical leadership and project management skills in the provision of a consultative service to support decision making;
- Fosters the development of a systematic approach to the improvement of clinical and corporate governance, patient safety, quality and risk management and freedom of information that is commensurate with the national, SA Health and NALHN frameworks
- Leads, manages, supports, builds and enhances the patient safety, risk management and compliance capabilities within the NALHN;
- Is responsible for formulating and implementing the network’s patient safety, risk management and compliance frameworks, plans and procedures that impact on NALHN operations; and
- Supports and contributes to the NALHN Clinical Governance Service leadership and strategic directions by leading a team of staff that provides
To be eligible for this position you must hold an Appropriate qualification in an Allied Health discipline from a recognised tertiary institution resulting in registration or giving eligibility for membership with the relevant professional association or be Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse / Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
