About The Role
To support our continued organisational growth, we are currently seeking a Payments Officer to join our innovative and passionate team.
The Payments Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate administration of end-to-end vendor and participant payment processes. This includes coding invoices, processing and payment of invoices and claims, creating and quality checking batches, financial reconciliations, contract reporting and preparation and accurate data entry of accounts for payment.
This role will ensure payments are recorded and processed accurately and comply with delegations, policies, procedures and legislative requirements, such as GST.

About You
We work in a fast-paced environment and are on the lookout for an enthusiastic accounts payable professional with:
- Experience in processing accounts payable and general ledger transactions within the GST environment.
- Knowledge of effective payments, financial and accounting practices and reporting functions.
- Proficient numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
Position Details
The position being offered is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Remuneration
ASO2 ($55,315 - $59,503)
Special Conditions
Employment is subject to satisfactory Working with Children Check and Disability related employment screenings.
