JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an opportunity for a Senior Digital Services Adviser within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA). The role reports to the Manager Communications and Digital Services.

The Senior Digital Services Adviser is part of the Communication and Digital Services Unit. This team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to deliver media, communication and digital services across PIRSA. This position acts as a team leader for the Digital Services team and directly manages planning and coordination of the team’s workload, including providing direction and leadership to the team.

The role contributes to the agency’s priorities and objectives by ensuring information and services are accessible, searchable and easy to interact with.

The Senior Digital Services Adviser is expected to have strong project leadership, planning and organisational skills, problem-solving skills and an ability to use good judgement and expertise under limited guidance.

Exceptional skills and experience are required in digital user experience, digital service standards and the management of digital services and channels, web publishing and content management systems, as well as management capabilities.

The position works closely with the broader Communication and Digital Services Unit and Senior Digital Communications Adviser to deliver best practice digital communications.

Requirements
  • Desirable: Tertiary qualifications majoring in communication-related disciplines or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
