JOB DESCRIPTION
The Psychologist is a member of an inter-disciplinary team and works with children and young people with developmental, cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties, and exceptional needs (including giftedness) and their families. The Psychologist works with preschool and school staff, and parents to delvelop evidence based psychology interventions that include proactive, targeted and intensive strategies that can be adapted for learning and home contexts. This position works under the professional support and direction of the Senior Psychologist.
Essential Qualifications
AHP2: Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia
AHP3: Current and full registation (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia. Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-related employment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires. The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Abuse & Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course every three years. Remuneration
AHP2 - $83,152 to $96,329 per annum
AHP3 - $98,157 to $105,285 per annum
