Over the past 50+ years, their industry-leading standards, equipment, and staff have allowed them to be involved with some of the largest infrastructure projects nationwide. As a specialist in coatings and remediations works, they are experiencing continued growth in 2021 and they are now seeking a Project Manager to join their experienced team.

THE ROLE

This is an opportunity for a Qualified Civil Engineer with a background in structures. Although working within a specialised field, experience in this specific area will not be necessary and this is an opportunity open to both recent Grad Engineers to experienced Project Managers. As a Project Manager you will responsible for;

• Preparation of project-specific documentation, assist in the preparation of tenders and procurement activities
• Identify and resolve problems using the correct process and procedures
• Foreseeing, managing, and mitigating risks and issues that may affect safety, schedule, quality, and cost
• Immediate projects will be in rural Victoria. You will be required to live away from home for these projects. Opportunity for interstate projects in the future.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Excellent negotiation skills to implement contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety, and time requirements.
• Previous experience managing subcontractors with programming, supervision, and contracts administration.
• Previous experience working on remedial, restrengthening, blast & paint, cathodic protection, bridges projects will be in your favour
• Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
