Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have an opportunity for an Analyst Cards Quality Assurance.

Your role will be to provide the quality assurance service which supports the delivery of cards projects and BAU initiatives across Consumer and Commercial products for Credit and Debit. It includes estimating, detailed UAT test planning, UAT test execution, status reporting and BVT execution for changes to banking systems. 

Key accountabilities:

  • Test Planning: Write UAT test plans, BVT test plans and UAT test cases. Provide input to test estimates
  • Test Preparation: Identify test environment requirements including data and batch requirements. Create test data. Create and maintain requirements traceability matrix. Review business requirements and system test plans
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases. Raise defects and re-test. Prioritise test execution and defects. Execute BVT plans. Provide input to post implementation reviews
  • Test Management: Provide status information
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide status reporting to stakeholders

What you will bring:

  • Industry certifications such as formal User Acceptance testing courses e.g. ISTQB Foundation Certificate in software testing (desirable)
  • Experience in banking or financial services, including experience as a test analyst
  • Cards ledger experience - Base Global, Vision Plus, CardPac (desirable)

In addition, your ability to communicate with influence coupled with your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will ensure your success in this role.

As part of the Personal Banking Division, you will be part of the Personal Everyday Banking Business Unit and play a key role in helping us to achieve end to end delivery and optimal customer experiences. We will play an integral role in supporting NAB and Personal Banking to achieve our Strategic Ambition and priorities for our customers. We may at times work in cross-functional teams to achieve our objectives together, including partnering with our Digital, Marketing and Experience Design colleagues.
