An opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics team as Commercial Account Manager – New South Wales supporting our customers and working closely and collaboratively with our Marketing, Customer Care & Technical Services teams.

Based in our Sydney office, you will drive business growth and achieve financial targets by delivering on sales strategies focussed on our existing customer and new customer segments. You will manage your territory business plan, accomplishing territory and regional goals. Taking pride in your work and the work of your team, and upholding our company values.

Your work is typically spent in the field focussed on your New South Wales territory, building your customer relationships, providing hands-on product demonstrations, brand building activities and maximising sales potential. Your ideas and solutions to satisfy customer needs will be key to your success.

You will apply your previous experience working in a sales/business development/marketing role within a commercial healthcare organisation and hold a relevant science or clinical qualification and background.

Working across our product groups of Cardiometabolic, Infectious Disease and Toxicology, product knowledge is a priority for this role, so you’ll need to be able to assimilate this information, adapt your communication style and convey highly detailed medical/scientific terminologies and concepts to your customers.
