SARAH & SEBASTIAN is looking for a Flagship Store Manager to lead our retail team at our Paddington Store. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager to drive retail trade, ensure operational excellence, build client relationships and grow our appointment business to further success.


Founded in 2012, Australian jewellery brand SARAH & SEBASTIAN has quickly achieved cult status. Interpreting the visual arts and design, the brand is synonymous with contemporary silhouettes, unique details and understated luxury. SARAH & SEBASTIAN is expanding their retail footprint and as such, the desired candidate for our Store Manager position is an individual who can take on the challenge to successfully lead our original flagship.


  • Successfully lead & manage our Paddington Flagship
  • Manage the launch of our new engagement suite with excellence
  • Be a part of managing our new piercing suite in the Flagship with the support of the Lead Piercer & Operations Manager
  • Drive and maximise sales performances in store
  • Set weekly targets based on budgets provided, with the support of your Operations Manager
  • Motivate and drive the store team to meet targets and achieve their KPIs
  • Lead store operations and ensure store operations excellence
  • Propose, develop and implement business ideas to improve trade, with the support of your operations manager
  • Be an ambassador for our brand; identifying new opportunities to increase customer footfall, attracting new clients and building on customer loyalty
  • Mature presence on the sales floor, ensuring unparalleled service to our existing & new clients
  • Responsible for the actioning and the enforcement of company procedures on cash activity, security, inventory, logistics and trade reporting


  • Create a client-centric culture by personally developing and maintaining solid Client relationships & coaching your team to do the same
  • Nurture relationships and build on the clientele of the Paddington Store
  • Ensure unparalleled client facing sales service, along with an acute focus on after sale services.
  • Grow a strong private appointment culture & appointment business through team coaching and effective clienteling
  • Lead and develop our engagement suite in the Store by effectively actioning our step by step process and delegating to team members where appropriate
  • Ensure that the Sarah Sebastian visual displays and team behaviour is in accordance with Company guidelines and brand ethos
  • Monitor, track & act on reviews/customer feedback
  • Help implement, in partnership with Head Office & your direct reports, clienteling initiatives and events to secure client loyalty and increasing client spending


  • Recruit retail staff members where necessary and onboard team effectively
  • Practice exceptional People Management skills, including every day coaching, upskilling review holding
  • Motivate your team to success through effective management of talent & development needs
  • Promote an entrepreneurial and motivated team spirit using effective communication & creating an optimistic environment
  • Ensure the team is always prepared and updated on SARAH & SEBASTIAN information, exceptional product knowledge, local market updates, policies and procedures
  • Train teams on store operations and the SARAH & SEBASTIAN sales ceremony
