This exciting role will be responsible for building Emmetts irrigation customer base as we enter the irrigation market.. We are happy for you to be based in Renmark, or a location within this region

A day in the life

  • Building irrigation sales, with the full support of the Emmetts Irrigation team and backup from Emmetts machinery business.
  • Work in line with the multiyear sales plan to drive the growth of the business.
  • Function as the sales representative for the full Valley systems range and be trained as an irrigation designer over the longer term.
  • Leverage customer relationships and market intelligence to optimize sales results
  • Help to sell parts and service, alongside the pivots and laterals.
  • Contribute to developing forecasts and budgets
  • Develop and keep informed on competitor activity within the region
  • Schedule daily workloads for yourself
  • Provide customer satisfaction with the interactions the customer has with Emmetts Irrigation
  • Manage margins, market pricing, customer satisfaction and positive exposure

Skills and Experiences:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or agriculture
  • Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
  • A current Australian drivers’ licence
  • Australian Citizen or appropriate Work Visa
  • Ability to travel domestically with overnight stays
  • Develops and maintains great return customer relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication and team orientation
  • Ability to set targets and achieve results
  • Ability to solve problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to manage key performance indicators

  • Previous experience with CRM system (e.g. HubSpot, SalesForce etc)
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • A passion for Agriculture and Agronomy highly regarded
