David Taylor Spray Painting is currently looking to employ an experienced and qualified Panel Beater to join their work shop team.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Strong Commitment to safety – No short cut
• Remove damaged panels and components by unbolting or cutting them away
• Straighten badly damaged vehicles using mechanical and hydraulic equipment to obtain door, boot and bonnet clearances
• Fit the repaired panel on the framework of the vehicle and refit body hardware such as door locks and door trim
• Remove and replace accident-related mechanical items
• Realign chassis and body frames, and use chassis alignment machines and measuring systems 
• Remove and replace auto-electric components
• Remove dents by hammering panels with special panel beating tools
• Drivers License
• Flexibility with hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Time management and attention to detail
• Punctuality
• Willingness to learn

Skills & Abilities:

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Trade qualified panel Beater
• Excellent communications skills

Salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience

Hours: fulltime
