About the role
The team at UGL Unipart are currently seeking applications from HSE Advisors to join the on site HSE team based at our heavy maintenance facility in Auburn, NSW
Reporting to the HSE Manager, the role of the HSE Advisor shall support UGL Unipart HSE Manager to facilitate effective implementation of WHS, Rail Safety, Workers Compensation & Injury Management, and Environmental (HSE) processes and systems to continually improve our safety and environmental performance, and meet legal requirements, and UGL minimum standards.
The role will provide advice and mentoring on WHS, rail safety, worker’s compensation, and environmental compliance matters, as well as assisting in identifying and implementing best practice solutions to prevent incidents. The role will be responsible for ensuring governance processes are implemented to assist management in ensuring the HSE legal and business requirements are being met, and injuries appropriately classified and managed.
About you
- Certificate IV, Diploma and/or tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent
- Cert IV qualifications in Training & Assessment
- Experience in auditing and investigations (Lead Auditor and ICAM qualifications) are desirable
- Excellent knowledge of the WHS, Environment and Workers Compensation legislation
- Knowledge of AS 4801, ISO 9001/14001, ISO31000 and Rail Safety National Law
- Excellent knowledge of the WHS, Environment and Workers Compensation legislation
- Experience working in construction, rail and mining industries highly regarded
