Are you a Registered Nurse with over 2 years of recent blood collection experience? Are you looking for a flexible role within your area of expertise and within your surrounding suburbs? If you are, we are offering the opportunity to sub-contract for UHG in a role that allows you to manage your own schedule and work load.

We are offering the opportunity for you to work at your own pace, within your own business and not be stuck working shift work or bound by the walls of a facility.

Our Health Screening Nurses provide mobile health screening services to clients around Australia. Our clients include life insurers and firms within the legal sector who require their applicants to undergo routine health assessments and pathology collection services. We also perform vaccinations, drug screenings and other corporate health services for many of Australia's well-known companies.

  • This role would be ideal for someone who can manage their own schedule and work as often as preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and have the ability to liaise with head office via all modes of communication.
  • This role would be best suited to someone who has an at home office space with the ability to scan documents; computer, scanner, contact number and printer.
  • Our Health Screening Consultants provide mobile life insurance applicant screening services around Australia.
  • Willing to travel and service an area of at least 50kms around your residence.
  • As a subcontractor, you would be required to obtain an ABN, working with children's and/or police check.

What your new tasks would include:

  • Meeting with our clients to conduct routine health assessments and pathology collection services.
  • This can include pathology, mini health assessments, paramedical, ecg's, spirometry tests.
  • Updating head office every 24 hours on progression of appointment stages.
  • Liaising with stakeholders in regards to stages of the screening process.

What you need to join our growing team!

  • Experience applying your clinical knowledge in a customer service environment.
  • A Registered Nurse with a solid medical and phlebotomy background (minimum 2 years).
  • Valid registration with APHRA.
  • Professional presentation, a high level of communication and time management skills.
  • Constantly provide a high level of service that coincides with our business values.
  • Must have or willing to obtain a Current CPR certification, National Police check and ABN.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle as the health assessments are completed within a client's home or workplace.

As this position is on the road, a travel allowance is provided along with the opportunity to work as a subcontractor for a growing and reputable company within the health sector.
