We have a current opportunity for a Database Administrator to join a well known consultancy on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Sydney onsite at a Large telco.

The purpose of this position is to be able to design, build and support Infrastructure related projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design & build Oracle Exadata, ZDLRA Systems (Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance)
• Oracle Exadata, ZDLRA, SuperCluster System Administration
• Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center 12c and OEM 13c Administration
• Develop and maintain system documentation related to the Oracle Exadata & ZDLRA hardware and software configuration
• Platinum gateway monitoring & management
• Co-ordinate with Vendor for hardware replacement activities
• Perform Patch & release management (Database, server, network, Oracle Exadata & ZDLRA)
• User Account Management
• Build configure Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance.
• ZFS Replication step up and assigning iscsi and NFS shares.
• Establish appropriate procedures and guidelines to pursue, track and document service requests
• Evaluate overall performance of the Supercluster systems and provide recommendations for improving performance.
