Aveo is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to be a part of our COVID19 Contact Centre team on a fixed-term basis; located in our Brisbane Office in Newstead, QLD.

About the role:

  • Fixed-Term Part-Time until end of June 2021
  • 16 hours per week across 3-days (06:00 - 10:00am, Mon, Wed, Thur)
  • Liaise with internal and external consumers and consumers in a prompt, courteous and effective manner, ensuring a high level of consumer service and data entry
  • Provide consumer service in a professional manner, through the use of allocated systems, scripts and accurate information
  • Document all consumer contact information and relevant accurately into company systems and applications
  • Follow up and escalate cases when required
  • Give accurate and timely responses to telephone and web enquiries relating to identified health issues
  • Maintain data within provided data bases and systems
  • To Practice in accordance with the current legislation affecting nursing and nursing code of ethics, updating professional knowledge
  • Be conversant with the WH&S policy of the facility and to practice within the parameters of WH&S and Infection Control policies and procedures as required by the Home to ensure safe, efficient nursing care for Residents
  • To maintain a safe environment by identifying/reporting and rectifying safety risks
  • To ensure any workplace accident or incident is recorded on an Incident Report and to assist with the Accident Investigation of the incident
  • Maintain accurate quality control records within Human resources and Health services department

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Enrolled Nurse AHPRA Registration
  • Current Police Check clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of consumer service principles and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • "Can Do" and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work without direct supervision
  • Demonstrated ability and passion to maintain clinical knowledge
