The Opportunity

An opportunity has recently arisen for a Spray Seal Supervisor to join the South East Queensland Spray Sealing Team. You will be an integral member of the SEQ Team and will be responsible for supervising the contracting operations for our Sealing business. This role has the flex to be based at any of our operations across South East Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity to step into a leadership role and define your career. Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out job inspections and plan work delivery to ensure profit targets are achieved with mind towards our HSEQ responsibilities

• Assist work delivery crews and contractors to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards compliance

• Assist the South East Queensland team to identify work delivery, safety, quality and environment improvement opportunities and non-compliance corrective actions

• Ensure high utilisation of equipment and ensure required repair and maintenance is carried out in a timely and effective manner

• Liaising with clients in regards to job needs and expectations

• Planning and management of onsite activities including subcontractors and hire equipment

• Effective people management of the crew

• Completion of works in line with our tendered expectations

What we are looking for:

• Hands on experience in bituminous spray sealing work delivery including operation of equipment and handling raw materials

• Experience in providing bituminous spray seal work scope and product advice that is value add to customers

• Completed a recognised Leadership training course

• Completed AAPA Safely Working with Bituminous materials and Sprayed Sealing Selection and Design training course

Ideally you will have extensive experience in spray seal in a leadership role such as Foreman or Supervisor.
