SGS Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Energy Minerals team. In Australia, our Energy Minerals business is a leading provider of coal testing, analysis and expert advice.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all preventative sampler maintenance is performed in and as per client requirements
- Ensure all client safety requirements are followed
- Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on Automatic Samplers
- Liaison with clients about samples
- Ensure cost effectiveness of all maintenance contracts
- Provide timely response to client request
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on laboratory and preparation equipment
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
- Working at Heights
- MDG25
- Coal Board Medical
- Confined Space
- Class C Full Manual Drivers Licence
- Technical and professional knowledge
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Be customer service orientated
- Reliable attendance record
- Able to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of Mechanical Sampling Systems preferred
