About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant with a strong customer service background to join our team. We operate a wonderful home in Kellyville, you must be genuine and passionate about working in aged care to be successful in the role. We provide a supportive and enjoyable work environment with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to succeed in your role.


  • Greet visitors and attend to enquiries at the front desk
  • Answer telephones and transfer calls in a polite and efficient manner
  • Act as first point of contact for MHCG stakeholders
  • Assist with planning events, meetings and luncheons
  • Prepare documents, reports and correspondence when required
  • Communicate relevant information and requests to employees and residents promptly and accurately
  • Create documents and manage employee and staff files and records
  • Maintain the general presentation of reception and the back office
  • Ensure that stationery and amenities are stocked
  • Support Management team with day-to-day administrative activities
  • Assist with the establishment of new residents
  • Complete purchase orders for review by ACH management such as stationary orders and orders for other items
  • Prepare minutes of meetings as requested
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

 Key skills and competencies required

  • 2+ years working in a high-volume, fast-paced administrative role will be highly regarded
  • An ability to deal with changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service, organisational and time management skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to perform routine administration tasks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Current police check and influenza vaccine (or willingness to obtain) and valid working rights
