Role Overview / Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this Accounts Payable officer will take ownership of the end to end Accounts Payable process from processing supplier payments to the reconciliation of supplier statements on a part time basis.

The Accounts Payable Officer will assist in the month end reporting activities and the preparation of accounts payables reconciliations. On a daily basis, you will identify and resolve all issues arising from supplier invoices and payments, process invoices and perform necessary data entry to clear the current backlog.

The Job/ Duties / Responsibilities

  • Invoice data entry
  • Payment processing
  • Reconcile the Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt account ensuring accuracy
  • Manage adhoc payments throughout the month
  • Resolve disputes regarding vendor payments
  • Use Xero daily and have solid working knowledge of this system

Candidate Profile
You have some experience working as an AP Officer and have used Xero. You will also have intermediate Excel skills and be immediately available to start this minimum 3 week role.

  • Some experience in working as an Accounts Payable officer
  • Demonstrate knowledge in data entry and invoice processing
  • Strong PC and communication skills
  • Sound decision making and problem solving skills

This is a 3 day per week role starting immediately - you must have Xero experience and be willing to commit to the length of the role.
