A highly successful company in the flooring industry are looking to grow their team and invite a successful customer service representative to join their team, in a North Brisbane suburb.

Client Details

Adecco is delighted to be partnering with a flooring company who provide to a variety of commercial and residential customers.

Our client is a fully Australian owned entity with many locations around the country and prides themselves on providing innovative and technological flooring to their clients.

They are proudly owned by one of the largest flooring companies in the world meaning that they have a strong and stable reach in the Australian market.


This green edge brand is growing their team and would like to find someone passionate about providing customer service in a customer service representative position.

The team are a reasonable size and are laid back in their approach, pleasantly working together to smash their goal of excellent service to their clients.

The position's day to day tasks would include:-

  • Answering inbound calls from commercial and residential clients
  • Assisting with general queries on flooring and products
  • Complaint handling
  • Processing orders
  • Ensuring shipments of products are on time and within dedicated time frames for customers
  • Resolving stock issues
  • Liaising with other Australian based customer service representatives in the case of stock shortage in a particular state
  • Fax and email of information on products, services, pricing, quotes and general information to clients
  • Participation in company meetings around strategy and work schedules
  • Overall positive customer satisfaction

The position is a full-time permanent position providing you with a formal contract, leave entitlements and everything that would be expected of a permanent opportunity.

The position does not necessarily have a training session upon commencement, some things will be taught but generally, you will learn on the job and pick things up as you go along.


To be in with a shot of success in this role you will need to be able to learn on the job, use a common-sense approach and be willing to learn where required.

You will also have the following:-

  • At least 1 year of solid customer service experience in 1 job to prove longevity
  • Examples and experiences you can draw from in a customer service environment
  • Confident phone manner to be able to resolve queries correctly
  • A car would be key to this position due to the location as the nearest station is a couple of suburbs away
  • Permanent residency or a working rights visa that provides a long period of working rights ahead
