• Global Company – Small Warehouse Team Environment
• 12 month contract with a view to extending.
• Belrose (Northern Beaches) location

The Company

The medical products division of this global company is seeking an experienced and motivated store person ideally with a solid understanding of logistics to join their existing warehouse team.

The Role

In this key role the successful candidate will be performing the following duties:

• Monitoring warehouse inbound shipments on a daily basis and recording and communicating any discrepancies
• Unpacking and performing inbound inspection of incoming shipments
• Recording inbound products received in the system and correctly storing product the warehouse
• Processing (Pick/Pack/Ship) of orders (small parcels)
• Inventory control, including scrapping of product and handling of expired / damaged items
• Computer data entry in various systems (good computer skills required)
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Maintaining compliance with training expectations as required for this position
• Liaise regularly with the Customer Service Team to ensure inventory transparency at all times
• Stock take activities

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a small high performing team/parcel warehouse operation (single unit pick, pack & ship operation) managing large amounts of serialized product.
• Experience working with medical products is preferred.
• Proven experience working within ISO13485/9001 quality system
• Experience working with ERP systems (ideally Oracle E1)
• Proven ability to work in a small team environment
• High level attention to detail – able to produce accurate work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a high degree of autonomy
• Well developed verbal and written communication skills
• High level Customer Service Skills
• Warehouse/Logistics qualifications

The successful candidate will commence on a 12 month contract with a strong possibility of extension. You will enjoy working in a clean and well ordered warehouse.
