We have an exciting opportunity for a transformative and innovative leader to join our Business and Customer Assist Team within Group Operations. As Manager, Partner Transformation, your role is paramount to contributing to the delivery of Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities, as well as showcase new ways of thinking and your creative flair.

The role is critical for the direct management of Customer Assists new partner implementations, costs, controls, and other key success measures. As a change agent, leading and powering the Service Revolution across our partners, they are empowered to set strategic direction for our overall partner strategy.

The key focus is to proactively support our Partners to learn, develop and continually grow to deliver effective performance outcomes that minimise the cost of credit losses, and ensure the right solutions for our customers in financial difficulty. The Leader is to work with the Senior Manager to set a three-year partner strategy that maintains and fosters a disciplined operations business aligned with Customer Assist deliverables, across Customer, Compliance, Commercials, Culture and Community based outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure our partners are aligned with the Business and Customer Assist service promise and partner strategy.
  • Direct the business Partners on clear goals, objectives and accountabilities which empower them to deliver.
  • Support our Partners to ensure they are role models of Our Service Promise & empower their teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Driving Strategic Partners adherence to compliance requirements and external regulations.
  • Work closely with the Business Assist and Customer Assist business to support the teams to achieve performance objectives through partners.

What do I need?

You will bring with you your leadership experience within Vendor Management and Communications Strategy, at a senior or executive level. You will be a proactive leader and work strategically to grow the busines, with strong commercial acumen. Bringing with you your structured thinking, you will take accountability and understand that partner engagement is highly critical to the success of the team.

As Well As This You Will
  • Have experience in managing Partner relationships
  • Demonstrate Project or Programme management experience
  • Be committed to risk and compliance and experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Be able to manage a Medium Supplier partnership, including contract management and operational performance
  • Be able to develop and implement business and resource strategies to achieve objectives and successful outcomes
  • Be customer centric with a background in customer experience delivery, focus on NPS, Complaints, increased performance and customer retention
  • Be committed to create uplift in people performance, knowledge and transform and drive a high performing team.
