Our client is a Sydney based national Telstra Business preferred partner here to help small, medium and large business navigate the often difficult business of Telecommunications.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing new business with small-to-medium business customers, working with them to provide telecommunications and ICT solutions that will increase the profitability and efficiency of their business.

  • Maintain strong business relationships with existing unassigned customers.
  • Win new business through cold calling, canvassing & networking.
  • Within your portfolio of customers, you will be required to visit your customers and provide product & service based solutions (PABX, Managed Services, Professional Services Office 365)
  • Assess each individual customers' needs to identify whole-of-business solutions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience and success in a field-based Business Development position,
  • Ideally in the Telecommunications, ICT
  • Experience with Telstra product range.
  • Ability to build and maintain profitable business relationships with customers.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive Sales in the following Products: PABX, Office 365, Pro Services, TBS SIP, Complex Data, Managed Services, Cloud
  • Ensure sales are managed through to successful completion and installation.
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A knowledge of IT processes and data networks
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensure administration and provisioning accuracy
  • Great customer relations in phone answering for overflow situations and complaints handling
  • Ability to take direction and follow procedures
  • Demonstrate motivation in relation to setting and achieving goals
  • Good problem solving skills with the understanding of how to identify problems, overcome them and suggest improvements
  • Understanding company budgets, processes and meet company KPI 's
  • Excellent computer skills and high attention to detail
