Hail Creek Mine is a large and dynamic operation located roughly 120 kilometres south-west of Mackay in the northern Bowen Basin mining region of central Queensland.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be an enthusiastic human resources professional who strives to achieve quality human resources service delivery and is driven to succeed and develop. You will be highly motivated, a logical thinker and be able to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic business environment. The role requires high levels of verbal and written communication skills, a quality focus and proficient application of MS Office and SAP systems.

The focus of this role is to ensure employee data and pay information is entered and processed in a timely and efficient manner. With experience in payroll systems such as SAP and with an understanding of human resources principles, you will have high attention to detail. Having the ability to interact effectively with operational personnel will see you succeed in this role. You will also work closely with all departments at Hail Creek Open Cut to provide support in payroll, HR Reporting and generalist HR tasks.

Holding or working toward obtaining tertiary qualifications in Human Resources will be highly regarded. A minimum of Certificate IV in Business Administration or Human Resources is essential. Exposure to SAP payroll processes is desirable with relevant work experience in a similar role.
