Amazon's Marketing Team is looking for a motivated Senior Marketing Manager to lead the overall deals strategy and customer experience for Australia. In this role you will work directly with teams across Amazon to build successful promotional and thematic site experiences by developing strategies for key seasonal events (including Black Friday, Prime Day etc.). You will also own the product vision for the "Today's Deals" experience, coordinating for company-wide collaboration of our sale program, and executing experiences that delight our customers. The Deals Manager will be responsible for developing the long term vision and strategy for the highly visible, trafficked and crucial deals platform on a week to week basis. Featuring Deal of the Day, Lighting Deals and Best Deals, the deals program drives long term value for Amazon and is an integral part of all high impact activities.

The ideal candidate will bring a sharp analytical mind, have strong coordination ability and can roll up his/her sleeves to get things done. He/she has to have a customer-oriented mindset and must have a strong track record in building scalable marketing/promotional programs across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities in the role includes:

· Overall responsibility for the main Amazon.com.au Deals pages. Ensure that these pages are presented to the highest standards, with the priorities of the customer front-of-mind. Ensure that the relevant departments are represented and that appropriate product selections have been made.
· Developing the Deals marketing plan and define processes for high impact events like, Prime Day, Black Friday, Christmas etc.
· Conducting long and short-term traffic planning that speaks to seasonal marketing strategies as well as long-term objectives, online and offline.
· Regularly manage and oversee the Deals Program - daily, peak events, Amazon launches - working closely with Brand Managers, Vendor Managers and Category Leaders
· Partnering with internal marketing teams (Associates, Email, Social Media, Homepage, Search, etc.) to plan, develop, execute and analyse marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
· Be a co-owner for the worldwide Deals product roadmap, working with worldwide product teams to improve customer experience and build a robust, clutter breaking deals platform.
· Compile, analyse, and present performance metrics and enlighten potential opportunities for program growth.
· Establishing guidelines and best practice for the execution of multi-channel campaigns.
· Working with worldwide analytics team, local finance teams and marketing business intelligence teams to measure and report the results of your efforts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

§ Bachelor's Degree
§ 7+ years of marketing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

§ Excellent communication and relationship management experience
§ Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving and project management skills
§ Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
§ Strong organisational skills
§ Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form
§ Good understanding of digital businesses and online shopping
