Service Manager - Environmental Analysis and Characterisation (EAC)

How will you make an impact?

You will lead the EAC Field Service Team to execute on service strategy and plans / selling service across divisional and regional responsibilities to meet AOP targets

What will you do?

  • Lead, motivate, develop and coach a team of Field Service Engineers (FSE) across specific range of products / market segments within the EAC portfolios
  • Develop commercial strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue targets as set in the Annual Operating Plan
  • Manage end to end service business and drive a customer centric culture
  • Build capability and technical expertise within team through comprehensive development plan
  • Drive ongoing process improvement projects and overall culture
  • Matrix responsibility across division and within specific states / regions
  • Ensure SME and PSE manage the business nationally at FSE level III
  • Ensure cross functional training is managed through the FSE
  • Manage operational aspects of FSE level I and apprentice workloads

How will you get here?

Education
  • Tertiary qualification and/or trade qualification, preferably in scientific, engineering and/or business field

    Experience
  • 7+ years of Technical Service management experience and/or Commercial management experience
  • Track record in driving business growth and revenue targets through the implementation of service strategy and execution of tactical actions to achieve required objectives
  • Team management experience, with track record in building, developing and coaching a high performing team to deliver against objectives
  • Experience leading change, from a process and people perspective
  • Track record of operating successfully within an environment focused on high performance and high levels of intensity
  • Experience in working in a global and matrix organisation with a decentralised model (preferred)
  • Experience acquired across several companies (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and understanding of portfolio management, customer segmentation and marketing levies, including digital channels
  • Business insight of industry sector, the regional market, its key trends and potential challenges (preferred)
  • Ability to manage ambiguity
