The Team
The Product Risk Management (PRM) team is an embedded Line 1 Risk team within Product and Risk which is the central design and manufacturing team for CommSec. PRM is accountable for the proactive management of product risk within the end to end product lifecycle. Our team is responsible for ensuring product design and distribution compliance, risk in change, control design, customer remediation, regulatory change implementation, incident and issue management and root cause analysis.
What a day in your role will look like?

The Senior Manager role reports directly to the Executive Manager. You will be responsible for regulatory implementation, risk and controls management, incident and issue management and remediation, and supplier governance. You will also be the risk SME supporting key projects and day to day PRM team functions to deliver the CommSec value proposition.
- Leading the investigation and resolution of issues and incidents, including remediation
- Providing ongoing risk guidance and risk support to ensure sustainable compliance with relevant regulatory obligations, policies and frameworks throughout the product lifecycle - design, pricing, distribution and monitoring
- Leading the management of product risks, and performance of controls design, testing and assessments, including monitoring of key risk metrics and control outcomes
- Preparing reports for relevant risk forums and stakeholder groups
- Performing risk in change to support and manage ongoing changes to product policy, processes and controls
- Working collaboratively with relevant business stakeholders to support and manage ongoing changes to policy, product, and processes
You Will Also Need

- Risk Management experience, including customer remediation, performing risk in change, incident and issue management, compliance, and monitoring adherence to obligations
- Experience in the financial services industry with understanding of the regulatory landscape
- Proven ability to drive and lead initiatives and achieve results
- Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Stockbroking experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience within international financial markets is highly desirable.
