JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Associate level candidate for our Economics, Fixed Income and FX strategy Team. You'll be able to process data, develop models and analytical frameworks, and understand how to apply them to answer interesting questions about financial markets and the economy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively meeting the needs of clients and internal stakeholders
  • Developing models for forecasting and analytics, data processing, programming
  • Writing research notes, in-depth reports and presentations

To be successful, you will need:
  • A tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance or a STEM discipline
  • Prior experience in an investment banking and/or markets research environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to produce high quality written reports and deliver effective group presentations
  • Familiarity with econometric and/or machine learning models
  • Data science skills, including programming in R, Python and other languages
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel
