SecureEnergy, a Clough Elecnor Joint Venture, has been selected to deliver the engineering, procurement, and construction of Project EnergyConnect. EnergyConnect is a new 700 km 330 kV transmission line running from Wagga Wagga in NSW to Robertstown in SA. The project scope also includes the construction of supporting infrastructure, such as substations and access roads along the route of the transmission line. When built, EnergyConnect will enable future renewable energy projects to connect to the electricity grid.

The Role

You will work with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of design engineers and project construction personnel delivering this major renewable energy infrastructure project. In this role you will:

• Process incoming and outgoing design and related document submissions ensuring all project requirements and standards are maintained
• Filing of technical documents as required by project procedures
• Ensure the project design and delivery teams are informed in the correct use of the EDMS and are using the system effectively
• Respond to project documentation enquiries from the project design and delivery teams, the client, supplier and sub-contractors
• Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of Document control systems

Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have significant experience in Document Control working on major projects within the infrastructure and construction sectors from design phase through construction to close-out, along with:

• Good working knowledge of a range of EDM Systems including Aconex, as well as Sharepoint
• Strong knowledge of key document control processes including vendor, client and workpacks
• Strong communication skills including the ability to work with team members in various geographic/remote locations
• An ability to coach project team members in the use of the EDMS and document control procedures
• Good understanding of technical and engineering terminology
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to meet tight deadlines
