VGA has an opportunity for a customer focused Storeperson to join their diverse team at Volvo Commercial Vehicle (VCV) Sydney West in Blacktown. This role is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers whilst retaining a commercial business approach. Our customers' are at the forefront of all that we do, hence this role requires the successful candidate to ensure customers expectations are met in a timely manner. About the role:

  • To efficiently receipt, handle and dispatch automotive parts in a warehouse environment
  • Safely unload vehicles while operating a forklift
  • Conduct systematic cycle counts of inventory to ensure inventory record accuracy and assist in periodic stocktakes
  • Maintain clean and safe housekeeping in a warehouse and goods storage areas
About you:
  • Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Sound automotive parts knowledge preferably gained within a retail environment
  • Experienced with warehousing administration and parts inventory
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn systems quickly
  • Clear communication skills and exceptional customers service skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a supportive team environment
  • Competitive hourly rate + generous forklift allowance
