The Head of ITID is responsible for a number of crucial / critical areas within the overall IT infrastructure. They include Client Services, IT Helpdesk, Data Centre Infrastructure Management, Data Centre Operations, Incident Management, Identity and Access Management, Change Management, Local Cryptographic Services, Telecoms (data and voice) as well as Enterprise Services .
The jobholder will work with local, regional and global service functions to ensure ITID disciplines are executed and managed to industry best practice levels.

The Head of ITID drives continuous improvements, works with many stakeholders across the bank, and drives costs down and service quality up. This includes all levels of stakeholders ranging from IT and Business SMEs right up to COO and Executive level.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of ITID functions
  • Monitor and review ITID performance to assess its effectiveness, delivering continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team delivers execution of the client services, telecoms, enterprise services, Data centre management and IT service management processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with global Digital Business Services IT ID policies, standards, guidelines and procedures with the objective of improving quality whilst increasing cost effectiveness and superior levels of risk management.
  • Align processes and procedures of HBAU ITID disciplines to Group ITID strategy and maximize leverage of global quality functions
  • Ensure compliance with Digital Business Services ITID processes, methods, approved tools and propose improvements / changes as required
  • Understanding and adherence to relevant Banking Regulations (CPS231/2/4)
Qualifications
Requirements:
Mandatory:
  • Extensive experience in a Technology Management Role, Managing Combined Technology Team size of 20+
  • Relevant University degree such as Computer Science.
  • High professional and personal standards.
  • Infrastructure Vendor Management Experience
Desirable:
  • Experience with Global Infrastructure Services
  • Preparing and Executing a Technology Strategy
  • In Depth Telecoms, Enterprise or Client Services Background
  • ITIL / Service Management Qualifications and Experience
