Systems Connect (an unincorporated Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and UGL Engineering) is delivering the Line-wide Works (LW Works) package of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMCSW) project, which will extend Sydney Metro Northwest to the CBD and beyond to Bankstown. SMCSW is being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.

We are currently seeking to engage a well-experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team based in North Sydney. The role is well suited to a HR professional with well-developed stakeholder management skills and someone looking to progress their career.

  • End to end management of HR deliverables in a Project environment including; recruitment, onboarding, culture development and people issues.
  • Provide timely and accurate ER/IR advice to site teams and senior management; including EA interpretation, union matters and performance management
  • Provide leadership and development to a team of HR professionals
  • Management of HR Projects to ensure the Project delivers on Diversity and Inclusion targets
  • Responds appropriately and promptly to general HR queries
  • Ability to partner with your business and provide risk rated advice

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant experience as a HR Advisor, ideally within a project environment
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, including government policy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Has an ability to solve problem & have a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
  • Someone who is not afraid to step up to additional duties where required and has an “all hands-on deck” attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple competing stakeholder demands in a time critical environment.
  • Degree or Post-secondary school training or TAFE certificate in HR, Business or other associated disciplines.
