The position of Shelter Veterinarian presents a great opportunity to practice high quality veterinary care, working closely with an exceptional and passionate shelter team to achieve the goal of the best possible health and welfare outcomes for every animal.

A focus on the human-animal bond, compassion for pet owners and an interest in community engagement is equally critical to success in the role.

Criteria:

• At least 5 years’ experience, with a high level of competency in all aspects of medical and surgical veterinary care

• Compassionate and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for companion animals and their people

• Confident working autonomously as well as working as part of a team

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications

• Very well-equipped veterinary clinic with separate surgical suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound and Ezyvet software
