Forward Facing seek a Program Manager with an in-depth knowledge of ICT Business change function and the Defence CLC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • The development and updating of the schedule to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the PMP.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate and support the team in managing allocated resources and workflows.
  • Responsible for providing clear direction to technical staff within the project around schedule timelines and required documentation.
  • Development of Terms of Reference for the Integrated Project Team and managing Stakeholder engagement and expectations.
  • Completing monthly reporting on project status.
  • Proactively identifying and managing project risk.
  • Managing project schedule(s) to ensure effective completion of all scheduled tasks and activities.
  • Act as Commonwealth representative during system testing activities.
  • Provide advice as required to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills

  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage issues to support the delivery of capability.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and ensure that the capability sustainment meets requirements in line with legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse, develop and implement work plans to support delivery of outcomes.
  • Understanding of networking, computers and operating systems.

Essential Qualification and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
- Current and relevant project management experience.
- Good understanding of ICT projects.

Highly Desireable:
- Understanding of the content of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and its application.
- Defence and /or CASG experience.
- Understanding of land materiel technical integrity in line with TRF-LLMSM.
