Position: NSW Sales Manager - BDM (Security Guarding Services) (Sydney / EPPING Area Office)

Our client is a locally owned and operated Security Guarding Services provider based in Sydney (EPPING Area Office) specializing in security guarding and risk management serving the Sydney and NSW region very effectively.

They offer a tailored and professional service to their clientele and ensure a "customer-first" approach is maintained on all their sites and contracts whilst providing a safe and secure environment.
Through building an excellent reputation via best practices they have enjoyed excellent growth over the past 12 months and so much so that they now wish to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced and self-motivated NSW Sales Manager - BDM who will be an individual with an energetic and pro-active personality to help them expand their client base in this area, and to ultimately take the company to the next level focusing specifically on markets including:

New & Existing Business Development:

  • Risk Management Of Assets & Property
  • Static Guards In Commercial & Industrial Locations
  • Construction Sites Security & Patrols
  • Special Events & Functions
  • Retail Loss Prevention
  • Licensed Pub & Club Venues

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and developing sales relationships with potential clients
  • Become knowledgeable on current clients in order to renegotiate expiring contracts
  • Develop and maintain a client contact list
  • Generate your own leads and set appointments with decision makers
  • Close new business opportunities
  • Work directly with president to strategize and develop new business plans
  • Assist with creation of quotations / proposals & tender documentation
  • Assist with procedural changes

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of three years business development experience in the security guarding industry in SYDNEY
  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Listening skills to understand the client’s needs and be able to depict these needs in a proposal
  • Ability to research new construction opportunities in order to submit bids
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Possess organizational and time management skills

The applying candidate has the opportunity to be very generously compensated with an attractive salary + vehicle or allowance + commissions (Total package in advance of $100.000pa)
