The Role

Seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator for fast paced shut down and project works in the Pilbara region.

This role will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent and Supervisor in successful execution of the project to ensure that scopes of work are completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications, and within budget estimates in terms of labour and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety of employees and safe standards of work
  • Weekly planning of scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Daily planning for work crews and in field leadership
  • Identifying appropriate task execution methodologies
  • Scoping of site projects for accurate estimation
  • Meeting with client regularly for updating schedules
  • Training of new employees
  • Performance review of employees
  • Promoting a positive safety culture
  • Integrating with supervision team

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Current WA Electrical Licence
  • LVR/CPR Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working in the Resource Sector
  • MSIC desirable
  • Confined Space
  • Working at Heights
  • Cert III in Frontline Management (desirable)
  • Cert III in Health and Safety (desirable)
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
  • Hold a current drivers licence
