Seeking an experienced Accounts Officer - Maternity Leave cover, temporary for 6 - 12 months.

Our client, located in West Perth is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer, this is a temporary role, maternity leave cover for 6 - 12 months.

Key responsibilities in this role:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Raise purchase orders
• Assistance with BAS and other statutory submissions
• Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Journals
• Monthly and ad-hoc account analysis
• Reconcile and report discrepancies
• Provide support for other team members

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated technical accounting skills
• Advanced computer skills, MS Office and Accounting programs
• Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options and implement solutions
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to ensure all information is handled confidentially
