JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced Accounts Officer - Maternity Leave cover, temporary for 6 - 12 months.
Our client, located in West Perth is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer, this is a temporary role, maternity leave cover for 6 - 12 months.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Raise purchase orders
- Assistance with BAS and other statutory submissions
- Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Journals
- Monthly and ad-hoc account analysis
- Reconcile and report discrepancies
- Provide support for other team members
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated technical accounting skills
- Advanced computer skills, MS Office and Accounting programs
- Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options and implement solutions
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to ensure all information is handled confidentially
