Forward Facing seek an experience, security cleared Capability Transition Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering documents for the ADF Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system, and will produce documents to support activities to:

  • Deliver the FIC elements for realisation of the Interim Operating Capability.
  • Transition to higher levels of operating capability.
  • Realise Final Operating Capability.

The successful candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Significant experience in the use of contemporary EFBs.
  • Knowledge of capability realisation and transition planning methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to develop capability realisation and transition plans.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work under broad direction to achieve directed outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work and team effectively with service delivery and other management personnel.
  • Innovative in applying solutions for the benefit of stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, escalate and manage risks.
  • Written skills compliant with Australian Defence Force writing.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.

Highly Desireable

  • Military aircrew experience.
  • Formal project management qualifications.
