Mining Operator - Dump Truck

Work Location: Solomon

Roster: 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off FIFO ex Perth

You will expected to operate mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards, to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Meet daily operational targets
• Maintain assets to operational capacity
• Constantly strive to increase process efficiency
• Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values
• Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis

Qualifications and skills required:

• WA Class HR Driver's Licence
• Ability to skillfully operate dump trucks, specifically 785C, 785D, 789D & 793F
• Demonstrated experienced operating mobile equipment in the mining industry
• Relevant mobile equipment certification
• Ability to read mine plans
• Good communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
• Excellent time management skills
• Senior First Aid - preferable
