TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer - Part Time to work with our locally based Townsville client 2 days a week. This role is looking for someone available to work on a Monday and Tuesday for a great organisation on a casual basis.

Principle Accountabilities Include:

  • Manage, review, update and maintain the payroll system ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Responsible for end to end processing of wages and termination payments for staff
  • Process superannuation
  • Ensure new staff contracts are entered HR/Payroll System
  • Ensure all end of year processes for payroll are completed
  • Ensure payroll reports are updated for external audit requirements
  • Adheres to various legislative, policy and award requirements
  • Maintains an understanding of the current legislative requirements, regulations and policies and processes

Coupled with a strong attention to detail, you will also possess the following:

  • Experience in a similar position is essential
  • Strong Administration and communication skills
  • Great customer service
  • Result orientated and effective working within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
