TAFE NSW is seeking an experienced Education Administration Support individual who will support the Travel, Tourism and Events teaching section. Supporting a team of teachers, you will work in a fast-paced environment where you are required to be provide professional customer service, be agile, innovative and have the ability to prioritise and think on your feet. You will have demonstrated stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Being technologically savvy the role requires you to use a range of programs. Supporting student enrolments and withdrawals within the teaching section you will liaise with students on behalf of teachers.

To be considered in the role you will have;

  • 2 years’ experience in administration within a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ideal (although not essential) you will have knowledge of TAFE NSW Systems
  • Provide high quality customer service support to both external/internal clients
  • Manage competing priorities within small time frames
  • Administration experience in reporting, creating registers, booking meeting rooms, purchasing, liaising with facilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Word knowledge and skills
  • Drive, commitment and ability to facilitate support in an education environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • Great team player who strives to achieve success
