Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure and Planning, the ICT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, development and maintenance of the Organisation’s ICT systems and services that will assist in ensuring a high level of service delivery. You will be part of a high performing, collaborative team and more specifically, your role will include:

  • Developing ICT strategies, tactical plans and business cases in order to deliver effective ICT services and solutions to the organization as a whole.
  • Lead ICT risk management activities, including working with Executive and Managers to develop, implement and test the Organisation’s Emergency Management Plan, which includes ICT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
  • Monitor, analyse, and review data collected to ensure a continuous high standard of service delivery.
  • Support the development and manage the ICT project/implementation within partnership amalgamations and mergers.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements of key contracts to ensure that ITC services are efficient, reliable, and available.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Tertiary Qualifications completed or underway in one or more of the following areas:
    • Information Technology
    • Management
    • Business
  • Experience equivalent to 5 years’ minimum in an ICT Management or related role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Vendor management, developing effective service level agreements.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Process Re-engineering and Business Excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience in the following ICT areas:
    • ICT Management
    • Vendor Management
    • Strategic and tactical planning
  • Eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Proactive goal oriented and focused approach to tasks and responsibilities, and ability to work towards outcomes in an ever-changing environment.
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and build upon working relationships effectively.
