To be successful you will have:

  • High level of professionalism and a strong customer focus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The drive and focus to exceed customer expectations;
  • Initiative and problem solving ability;
  • Conduct Driver license test in line with Agency Standards; and
  • Ability to advise successful and unsuccessful applicants, which includes details of performance and deficiencies in a positive customer focused manner.

To be eligible for this roles you must have:

  • Possession of an unrestricted driver’s licence (excluding a provisional or learners licence) for the preceding three years, have a satisfactory driving record and have the potential to successfully complete the relevant training course/s.
  • Willingness to progress to a Class HC licence and undertake training to conduct all licence classes and Test Categories where required

As part of the recruitment process you will need to complete the following:

1. Licence Check to determine satisfactory driving record
2. Complete 90 questions knowledge test
3. Complete Manual Driving test (you will be required to supply a manual vehicle to complete the test in)

Important Information

Remuneration: Service NSW Grade 5: Package includes a base salary of $77,643 - $81,597 pa, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Hours of work:

Operational hours are: 8.45am - 4.45pm (Monday-Friday)
Full Time 20 hours per week
Flexibility is required to work on a rotating roster between the Service Centre’s operational hours
Appointment to this position is subject to employment checks.
