Lendlease Services currently has an opportunity for a System Training Lead to join the Project Services team in our Telecommunications division. We are looking for well-rounded individuals with experience leading systems training in a diverse and complex environment.

Working within the Telecommunications sector you will be reporting into the Systems Operations Manager, servicing national requirements. You will be part of the system support team for Lendlease's biggest telecommunications projects. The office location for this role is flexible with locations in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

As a Systems Trainer Lead you will be responsible for providing training to our contractors and internal staff on the use of our construction focused systems and applications across our portfolio of projects. This role includes exposure to a wide range of market leading systems and is an opportunity to become an expert in a growing sector. Acting as a platform expert you will be focused on developing training materials and delivery of courses to drive excellence in system use by our project teams. You will be leading our training efforts across our business for our Microsoft Dynamics Field Service platform.

The tightly integrated team in Project Services provides an exciting opportunity for wide ranging career progression in the telecommunications and construction industry.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Design and implement training courses that can be delivered by our internal teams, either online or in person.
  • Deliver training courses to internal staff and contractors on the use of Lendlease Systems.
  • Understand the relevant project business processes to incorporate the business context into the systems training courses.
  • Generate training materials/manuals aligned to our business processes.
  • Deliver training to internal staff and contractors on the use of Lendlease.
  • Telecommunications Systems.
  • Coordinate groups of business representatives to deliver multiple streams of training when demand requires.
  • Plan the ongoing training of contractors for the lifetime of our systems.
  • Design and implement assessments for system competency within the Lendlease Telecommunications portfolio.
  • Assessment of contractors and internal staff to ensure systems competency.

To be successful in this role you must have:

You have strong experience in developing training and assessment materials for Information systems in line with industry requirements. Diploma level or Higher Education qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant stream. Qualifications in training and assessment e.g. TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment. You have more than 2 years’ experience in the IT industry and/or the telecommunications industry.

Additional qualities and skills include:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to different audiences.
High level of written and oral communication skills.

Experience/Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
