About the Role


Nursing and Midwifery Education & Strategy (NaMES) has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) to join the Mental Health Nursing education team (PRECEPT) in a permanent part-time capacity as a Clinical Nurse Educator. The Mental Health Education team is pivotal in providing contemporary education that promotes best practice standards in clinical mental health care. A key component of the role will be to provide clinical support to staff of all proficiency levels whilst demonstrating and promoting best practice standards. You will be required to work both independently and collaboratively with the Mental Health Program, Precept and NaMES team.


About You


You are a Mental Health Nurse who holds a Masters in Mental Health Nursing. You are able to demonstrate a sound understanding of mental health clinical assessment and practice; as well as having an understanding of different learning and teaching styles. You also possess excellent communication skills and have proven leadership qualities and have a passion for education. If this is you, then this is an excellent opportunity for you!
